Nestled in southern part of Kathmandu, Nepal lies a youth hostel for displaced and vulnerable children.
Zion House seeks to be a hostel of hope, where boys can be “rescued” from homelessness, trauma, and abandonment. This hostel seeks to be a home, striving to become a “family” comprised of partners in Nepal who directly serve at the home. Two “Uncles” (missionary leaders), one “Aunty” (house mom and chef) and a big “Brother” (Bible student and discipleship intern) work together to build HOPE, TRUST, and CONFIDENCE through loving care. Trust is already being built, as the children in Zion’s care learn they are not going to “run out” of food, and feel safe and secure.
